Deck The Tours With Boughs Of Holly at York's Chocolate Story!

This December (2nd-24th), York’s Chocolate Story are decking their tours with boughs of holly! All three floors will have a festive make-over as Father Christmas himself takes up residence at the attraction in King’s Square.

On Santa’s Sweet Adventure, guests will work with Santa’s elves in his interactive grotto, completing a mission to save Christmas! Filled with festive fun, children will experience cracking Christmas games, discover incredible seasonal secrets, as well of course meeting the big man himself!

During this hour-long experience, families can learn festive facts about iconic brands and how chocolate was involved in Christmases past. Young ones will have an opportunity to make their own Christmas-themed treats. In addition, guests can watch special festive demonstrations with our talented chocolatiers.

The regular guided tour will be bursting with wonderful insights into York’s festive heritage. Guests will find out how brands such as Black Magic, Kit Kat and Terry’s Chocolate Orange helped shape the holiday season. They will uncover the city’s history with advent calendars and find out how local innovation helped to create modern selection boxes.
