All Bonfires Great and Small!

As you will all realise, this Saturday is the annual celebration of York’s famous son’s attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament.  Guy Fawkes was ultimately thwarted but we all love the bonfire and firework displays his anniversary generates.

From small village community bonfires to large scale spectaculars, here are just a few to sample!

Helmsley - Receation Ground - Saturday 5th November

Fireworks to music, raffle on night to be lucky person to set off display, refreshments available, 6pm gates open, 6.30pm fire lit, 7pm fireworks. £5 ticket on gate. Under 5s free.

Leavening - Preston Hill - Saturday 5th November

6.00pm start – bonfire and fireworks at 6.30pm. Free entry – collection of donations on exit. Food and refreshments available. (In field to left of Wold Hill)

Pickering Firework Spectacular - Recreation Club - Saturday 5th November

Gates open 5.30pm. Firework display at 7.30pm. Freshly cooked food will be available including Hog Roast and Fish & Chips. Admission. £5.00 for adults. £3.00 for children under 12. Tickets available at The Rec' Club or Dunning's Butchers

Bedale Community Bonfire & Fireworks Bedale Hall. Saturday 5th November

 Food & activities 5pm Bonfire lit 6.15pm, fireworks 7pm. Free entry but donations welcome.

Masham Recreation Ground, Masham, Ripon, Saturday 5th November,

18:30 - 22: 00 On the Holme Fire 6.30, Fireworks 7.00.

The York Maze Fireworks Spectacular, Saturday 5th November

For an amazing bonfire night to remember, remember in York the home of Guy Fawkes, book your tickets for The York Maze Fireworks Spectacular. Held every year on 5th November there will be fireshows, the explosive lighting of York's biggest bonfire, food stalls, live music, sideshows and of course the most amazing fireworks show chorographed to music.  Need to buy tickets in advance though as there are none available on the night!

Thornton Hall Farm Park Bonfire, Saturday 5th November

Gates open at 6:00pm and bonfire is lit at 6:30pm .Firework extravaganza and live music performance, undercover bar, food available and children activities .Limited Numbers - to guarantee entry please arrive before 6:30pm .Ticketed event Adults - £8 - Children £6 under 2's FREE

Locke Park Bonfire, Saturday 5th November

This annual bonfire is run by Barnsley Round Table. Gates are open and Tuby's Funfair starts at: 6pm. Bonfire lit: 7:15pm; Fireworks: 8pmPrices: Family Ticket: £15. Individual price: £5. Under 5's: free.All in aid of charities.

Bolton Abbey Saturday 5th November

Bonfire lit at 18.00
A magical bonfire experience alongside the River Wharfe with the stunning backdrop of the illuminated priory ruins. Throughout the evening, be entertained by fire eaters and street performers. Children will enjoy our Children’s fairground rides and you can treat yourself to some warming food and sweet treats or just cosy up by the roaring bonfire. Once again the grand finale firework display will be fired by the multi award winning team Optimum Fireworks.
