Dogs love beaches. Running along the sand and playing in the sea is an exhilarating way for them to run off some of their boundless energy, and offers both the dog and its owner an exhilarating day at the seaside!
Before heading for the coast it is important to check out which beaches welcome dogs. It is also important to make sure that you have plenty of poop bags with you too!
Do check if beaches are seasonal too. Some are only open in winter months. Normally 1st October until 1st May. For more information Discover the Yorkshire Coast and The North York Moors National Park.
