Are you looking for some egg-citing Easter egg hunts in Yorkshire, a day out with the kids to keep them entertained and not drive you mad this Easter? We’ve compiled this list of the best Easter events and days out with the family in the North Yorkshire Moors and East Coast to help make your life that bit easier. We hope that this helps!


North Yorkshire Moors

Cadbury's Easter Egg hunts at Nunnington Hall, Old Coastguard Station (Robin Hood's Bay), Rievaulx Terrace and Ravenscar Visitor Centre. Please check dates with individual sites as they do vary.

Both the centres at Danby and Sutton Bank have Easter Eggsplorer Trails to enjoy (25 - 28 March), complete the challenge to claim your tasty prize!

There's Easter Adventure Quests at Whitby Abbey and Scarborough Castle (25 - 28 March). Find characters from the past to help you crack the clues and seek out your chocolate reward.

Have a go at the Eggsplorer Challenge at Scampston (25 March - 10 April) or Beck Isle Museum's Easter trail (28 March - 10 April) to win a chocolate treat.

The Easter Bunny has hidden a giant golden egg somewhere on Burton Agnes Hall's Easter Egg Trail (25 March - 10 April) and there are chocolate eggs to be found on the Easter Egg Hunt (27 - 28 March).

There's more Egg-citing family activities at Castle Howard's Easter Fair (26 - 28 March) with  traditional rides and a giant Easter egg hunt.
