Barry Sheene Road Race Festival
Oliver’s Mount

The Barry Sheene Road Races is a special date on our calendar. Barry Sheene is an iconic racer who loved racing at Oliver's Mount in the 70's and 80's. To remember Britain's last road race World Champion, Oliver's Mount has this event dedicated to his memory every year. Scarborough Seafest
Scarborough
A raft of activities all weekend for the whole family to enjoy! Free Tours on the Royal Navy HMS Explorer on North Wharf. Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre – Displays of Maritime history, model boats and net mending demonstrations Over 35 stalls selling craft and local produce. Face painter and children’s entertainer. Live music day and night in the Great Yorkshire Brewery Ale tent.

The Seafest Food Theatre - top chefs will be cooking up some delicious fishy dishes on Saturday and Sunday including Christian Taylor from The Plough in Scalby, Richard Pawlowski, Senior Sous Chef at the recently refurbished contemporary and opulent restaurant at The Copper Horse in Seamer, Scarborough. Dan Hargreaves of The Grainary, and Rob Green who until recently ran the award-winning Green's restaurant in Whitby.

Seafest Music
The Seafest music concerts will kick off this year’s Maritime extravaganza. Come watch and listen for Free what our very own live music scene has to offer and discover the freshest new talent on the Yorkshire Coast.

Highlights include Friday night - Nowhere Now, The Fuzz Junkies & The Sub Gents.

Saturday's lineup includes , Billy Nielsen, Emma Button, Danny Firth, Sir Tom Watton, Alastair James, The Railroad Hobos, Rockin' Hillbilly Blues Band, Lottie Holmes, Tom Townsend and Stone Penguin.

Sunday starts at 11.15 with the Sunday Service – Blessing of the Boats followed by Frankie Dixon, Jesse Hutchinson, Tony Grimaud and the Baytown Rattlers.
