Grassington Festival, 15 days of Music and Arts in the Yorkshire Dales .  15th – 30th June 2018

Grassington Festival, an annual multi arts and music Festival, has been providing a lively and enriching cultural experience to residents and visitors for 38 years with its combination of performances, visual arts and live music.

For the last two weeks of June each year, Grassington comes alive in a myriad of colours and creativity as artists, bands, art enthusiasts and local people collaborate to entertain and inspire with unusual and unique live performances.

It is dedicated to making arts experiences accessible for everyone to enjoy and appreciate and to bring the community together to celebrate the best of music, theatre, dance, comedy, talks, workshops, walks, visual arts and creative challenges.

Grassington Festival is also proud of its Festival in the Community, which is a range of collaborative projects that provide exciting opportunities for local schools, care homes and community groups to get involved in the festival and create anything from art installations to music concerts.

In addition to income from ticket sales and national and local funding partners, the festival is also heavily reliant upon the help and support from its army of volunteers, and the ongoing generosity of its friends and sponsors.

The list of events during the 15 days is eclectic and ranges from an evening with Michael Parkinson, to music performances including Smokie (living next door to Alice) through to storytime with Joanna Harris (Chocolat) with everything you could imagine, in between!

There will be a fabulous range of beverages at their Festival in the Field Marquee including Black Sheep Brewery’s recently launched 54° North Lager. Transdev are running their Vamooz app-based bus to offer special evening buses direct to the Festival from Skipton so you will be able to fully appreciate the liquid delights on offer!

Tickets can be purchased from the Festival Box Office at the Hub in Grassington Square, open from 10am to 4pm and online at
