SANTA'S GROTTO ARRIVES AT THORPE PERROW ARBORETUM

Written by: Elmtree Press

As winter takes the reins at Thorp Perrow, the grotto magically bursts into life. Children are encouraged to follow the festive trail through the Arboretum, to the grotto where the elves are on hand to guide them through a winter wonderland, filled with magical creatures, arctic animals and snowy Christmas scenes.

Santa waits in his cosy living room, with a cheery smile and gift for every child.

Lady Diana Ropner, Creator of the Grotto, said “We are delighted that Santa has chosen our beautiful grotto as his home again this winter, and we’re looking forward to seeing the happy smiles of the children who will visit him.”

The Birds of Prey and Wildlife Centre surrounds the grotto, offering the chance to meet exotic birds and mammals, including the hand reared baby meerkat. The tearoom will be open serving mulled wine and warming mince pies, alongside their tasty winter menu.
