RLSS UK’s Open Water Festival

The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) is delighted to be bringing back the Open Water Festival for 2023! This year we're excited to be hosting the event from the beautiful Manvers Lake in South Yorkshire for the first time.
Whether you are an experienced open water swimmer or just fancy giving it a go; everyone is welcome. There are 5 distances to choose from and everyone who takes part will receive a swim hat, medal & goody bag. We're delighted to share that the warm-up will be led by none other than Sian Richardson; founder of The Bluetits Chill Swimmers!
Entry to the event is free for spectators and there will be lots to keep the whole family entertained throughout the day including a fantastic raffle, face-painting, local stallholders and water rescue demos from the Manvers Lake Bears (Newfoundland dogs). Refreshments will be available too – or you can pack a picnic.
Booking is now OPEN so please register as soon as possible to secure your time in the water – places are limited and we expect the event to be very popular.
What’s more, everyone who registers before the event will be entered into a prize draw to win a dryrobe® Advance Change Robe (with thanks to our headline sponsors, dryrobe).
