Santa Claus is coming to … the North Yorkshire Moors Railway
25, 26 November, 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 & 24 December

Join Santa and his special team of elves at either Pickering or Grosmont Station before a magical adventure aboard the Santa Express which will take you on a festive journey you won’t forget!

This enchanting Christmas experience sees Mr. Claus and his jolly helpers pass through the heritage carriages, giving children a chance to meet the legendary man himself on board the train, and gifting a special soft toy present to the children onboard - providing they’ve managed to keep themselves off the naughty list this year!

🎁 Soft toy for Children aged 1-15 which they can complete themselves.
🎒 NYMR Christmas backpack.
⏱️ The return journey lasts approx. 1 hour on board the Santa Express from Pickering or Grosmont.

Wrap up warm - we always advise passengers to wrap up warm during the winter months. Whilst our carriages are steam heated you’re welcome to bring a blanket for extra cosiness on the train journey just in case.

Tickets & Fares

The Adult or Child fare is £30 per person and includes a present and backpack for each child.

Those aged under 12 months can travel on the service free of charge. A seat will not be provided or a gift. If you would like to provide a present, we will allow Santa to hand this out.
