The Bempton Cliffs reserve, on the spectacular Yorkshire coast, is home to one of the UK’s top wildlife spectacles. Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and October to raise a family on towering chalk cliffs which overlook the North Sea.
We’re delighted that our car park, trails, toilets, and limited café offer are open! Our shop and visitor centre remain closed at the moment. You’ll notice we’ve made some changes to help keep you and our staff and volunteers safe. We’ve reduced capacity in the car park and introduced passing places on our paths. The car park is open from dawn to dusk, but please be mindful that it is very busy from 10.30am-3pm, so consider visiting outside of those times if possible. In the cafe we’re serving take away options only through a hatch, and have limited key items available, from 10am-4pm. Indoor seating isn’t available just yet. Card payments only please. We can’t wait to see you (from a safe distance of course!)
