Operated by husband and wife team Chris and Margret Parkin the Carlton Lodge has been in their ownership for over 25 years. Chris & Margaret have worked together all of their married life with only one incidence of attempted murder being reported in all that time! They chose Helmsley as the place they would like to live and bring up their children Emma and Dan in the late 1980’s and have been amply rewarded in that time by their original choice.
