Same Difference bring the interactive Alice in Wonderland to Leeds this Easter
Award-winning company Same Difference bring the interactive Alice in Wonderland to Leeds this Easter. After a successful tour of 42 shows in summer 2021, Alice, the Red Queen and the Mad Hatter are back to give audiences a special Easter show.
‘An outstanding show performed by some very talented actors. Engaging, funny and 100% committed. It was a great way to entertain the family for an hour and we can’t wait to see it again in the future.’ (Audience 2021)
‘We had a wonderful time today watching your show. Very interactive and funny, my two boys (2 and 6 years) were mesmerised and really enjoying it. (Audience 2021).
The show is going to Leeds Markets event space on Friday 15th April and Farsley Community Church on Monday 18th April.
‘We are encouraging audiences to dress up’, says Artistic Director Natasha Glew ‘and we are giving out small prizes to all who do. We found last year this really helps the children connect to the story and the characters, with a bit of extra magic.’
The company share a re-telling of the classic story, focussing on Alice’s journey as a young person, learning to stand up to bullies and developing her internal confidence. The audience goes on a journey with Alice and watch her overcome her fears to get back home.
