National Centre for Birds of Prey

The National Centre for Birds of Prey, situated in the North Yorkshire town of Helmsley, is a leader in the captive breeding, conservation and care of these magnificent birds.

A team of trained birds are flown on the daily flying demonstrations. Different birds are flown each time; most of our visitors stay for at least two demos.

Children and adults alike love to see the birds doing what they do best. Everything from eagles to owls fly within inches of the audience. Make sure you bring your camera. We have an indoor flying area for wet days.
