Join an exclusive 'by appointment' tour on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and let one of our knowledgeable guides share the stories to this uniquely special place tucked behind York Minster.
With his vision for preserving and championing the past, Mr Frank Green, the curiously eccentric previous owner of Treasurer's House created his version of a historic house. Mixing different architectural styles and time periods alongside a remarkable collection of antiquities and art collected from around the world.
Journey through the house in a small guided group and learn more about the man himself and his special gift of Treasurer's House to the National Trust - the first to be gifted complete with its collection.
Tours are free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue. Free to National Trust members and under 5s. £8.70 for adults, £4.35 for children, £21.75 for family.
The tours will run from 1.15 - 4pm Wednesdays to Fridays, 1 May - 25 October.
