May Day at Ryedale Folk Museum

Ryedale Folk Museum are celebrating May Day this year the traditional way, perfect for all the family. Bring a picnic, create your own May Day crown, fit for a May King or May Queen, and then join us throughout the afternoon for Maypole dancing. This isn’t just a spectator sport – you’ll get to take part too.
We’ll be leading dances at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

(In the event of adverse weather, we'll take the celebrations inside instead for family games in the Manor House throughout the afternoon.) Normal admission prices apply or remember to bring your valid annual pass.
