VIP Experience: Borrow a Seabird Guide

An exclusive tour of Bempton Cliffs reserve delivered by our friendly, expert guides and tailored specifically to your wants and needs. This VIP exclusive tour is ideally suited to those new to bird or wildlife watching, particularly those interested in seabirds.

Head out on the reserve, guided by one of our volunteers who will take you to the best spots along the cliffs to view our spectacular seabird colony. Our viewpoints offer outstanding views of the cliffs, stretching from Flamborough Head to Filey Bay. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Bempton Big 9 - our key species of seabirds - Gannets, Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Herring Gulls, Puffins, Cormorant, Shag and Fulmar.There's also the opportunity to spot some of the other wildlife that visits Bempton including Swallows, Swifts, Tree Sparrows, Corn Bunting, Skylark, Peregrine Falcon, Seals and Porpoise.

Our guides can take you around the less trodden routes and offer exclusive insights into recent wildlife sightings and the history of Bempton Cliffs. There can be a fair amount of walking between stopping to look at wildlife and you'll need to be able to cope with uneven ground. However, as these events will be tailored to each group and we can cater these tours to suit your needs. Therefore if you could like a more accessible tour or to hire one of our free mobility scooters please make the team aware upon booking. At the end of your tour we’ll stop in at the visitor centre over looking the cliffs for a refreshing hot/cold drink with your guide.
