A 360 degree immersive art experience, taking visitors inside the artwork and mind of one of the most recognizable artists of all time - Vincent Van Gogh. Embark on the journey through Arles where Van Gogh spent last years discover his lesser known paintings as well as people’s favourites – Starry Night, Sunflowers and Almond Blossom.

A Brief History

Exhibition Hub – company behind Van Gogh – The Immersive Experience was established in 2015 and had their first exhibition set up in Brussels, Belgium. After initial success the company decided to expand into the United Kingdom. Hence the choice of York as the location for one of its most popular exhibitions to date - Van Gogh – The Immersive Experience

What We Offer Our Visitors:

At Van Gogh – The Immersive Experience you can get immersed in Van Gogh’s amazing art, find out some facts about the artist and if you have not had enough of immersion, there is the VR experience too! Not to mention our new souvenir shop where you can treat yourself, or your significant others, to a Van Gogh themed merchandise.

Our exhibition is fit for all. We have had customers of all ages, countries and walks of life. Van Gogh – The Immersive Experience definitely has a universal appeal. Most of all, we are family friendly. Kids love to draw in our drawing area as they can post their artworks on the projector for everyone to admire their take on Van Gogh’s art.

Family Friendly Activities & Activities For Kids

We provide drawing area for kids and a projector to display their artwork.

Opening Hours:

We are open 10am until 6pm (last admissions are at 5pm).

Open 6 days a week (closed on Tuesday). We are also closed on Wednesdays during winter times (please see our website for specific information).

Group Sizes Catered For:

We can accommodate large groups/school groups with generous discounts.

Pricing Information:

We have got tickets ranging from £9 for children under 18 to £12 for a concession ticket (disabled, over 60 and students) and £15 for adults.

There are also family tickets - £42 (two adults two children) and a group ticket which is £8 (for groups over 5 people).

Facilities:

As we are located in the heart of York (close to the Coppergate Shopping Centre) we are close to many cafes, tea rooms and restaurants.

Accessibility and Disabled Facilities:

We are unfortunately only partially accessible for wheelchair users as there is a mezzanine where the VR and gift shop are located.

We do, however, posses a disabled toilet.
