If you opt for a BIG Adventure, you can take unlimited rides on the three and-a-half mile long Kirklees Light Railway.  The scenic journey can be completed in just over an hour or you can extend your stay at either station by hopping off for a bite to eat, a scoop of ice cream or a play in one of the two fabulous playparks.  All activities* are included in the ticket price.

If you opt for a LITTLE Adventure, you can enjoy all the fabulous activities at Clayton West Station such as the playground, The Clayton Flyer and the jumping pillow included in your ticket price but this option does not include a ride on the steam train.  You can always upgrade on the day subject to availability!

Whistlestop Valley is usually open on weekends, Bank Holidays and local school holidays, with special toddler/preschooler days on selected term-time Mondays and Fridays. Please check whistlestopvalley.co.uk for the most up-to-date opening times.

Excellent value birthday parties are also available with a package that includes the train ride, food and party games for up to 20 children with an accompanying adult ticket provided for free charge for every party child attending.
