Despite travelling the globe and reporting from the front line in warn torn areas where most would fear to tread, it seems that actor, author, and TV presenter Ross Kemp has not until now, ventured to North Yorkshire for a public appearance.  However, on 21^st April, this will change when Ross presents ‘Take Nothing For Granted - Tales From An Unexpected Life’ at The Garden Rooms at Tennants in Leyburn.

Ross Kemp achieved international recognition for presenting the BAFTA award winning documentary series Ross Kemp on Gangs as well as Ross Kemp Extreme World.  This unique, one night only show will give a fascinating insight in to how Kemp made the transition from BBC soap star in EastEnders to one of the country’s best known documentary reporters.  He will tell stories from getting lost at sea, to setting a sacred island on fire, auditioning for his part on EastEnders to filming in active war zones across the world; these are the heart-warming, hilarious and hard-hitting stories of some of the unexpected adventures that have happened along the way.
