Thorp Perrow Arboretum - Spring Bird of Prey Photography Workshop

Capture the photogenic majesty of our Birds of Prey – up close!

Join our in-house avian experts and volunteer guides for our Bird of Prey Photography Workshop. You’ll meet the birds then take your photography skills to new heights as you explore the best ways to showcase their spirit and beauty with your camera.

You’ll be photographing the birds both in stationary positions and as they demonstrate their incredible flying skills against the beautiful backdrop of the trees, avenues, glades and spaces of Thorp Perrow. Our falconers will position and fly the birds, and our photography volunteers will impart their knowledge and advice, all the while encouraging you to experiment and use new skills to achieve shots you’ll be proud of.

This workshop is suitable for novice (Level 2), hobbyist (Level 3), and above amateur photographers. You’ll need to bring your own photographic equipment.

A picnic lunch will be served in the Arboretum.

The workshop will take place outdoors so sturdy footwear and seasonal outerwear are a must.
