Step back in time this Christmas with the Wensleydale Railway! The volunteer-led heritage railway will once again open the doors of Scruton Station, near Northallerton, for its annual Edwardian Christmas event.
Join the railway’s costumed living history interpreters on Sunday 14th December between 1pm and 4pm, for an afternoon filled with festivities such as carol singing and roasting chestnuts. There'll also be Christmas craft activities for all ages and plenty of seasonal treats to enjoy. Enjoy mulled wine, mince pies, and festive fun as the station is transformed for Christmas!
Adults £6.50 entry fee - includes a mince pie and a hot drink - choose from non-alcoholic mulled wine or hot chocolate.
Children £3 entry fee - includes festive treats and a hot chocolate.
There’s no need to pre-book, just turn up and enjoy an afternoon of Edwardian festive cheer!
Please note that the railway’s train services will not be running on the day of the event and there is no on-site parking at the station. Visitors traveling by car may park beyond the Station by the roadside on the west side of Station Road.
