Wensleydale Railway recently hosted a film crew from North East England. Actors George Heron and Tony Chapman, cameraman Ben Dodds and Louise Heron (first assistant director) spent time at Leeming Bar Station filming footage for ‘Wenlock Road’. The film is set in the 1970s and tells the story of a boy called George who refuses to let his tough childhood in South Shields determine his future.
