In 2026, by popular request, we have added other styles of music to our Brass Bands and Concerts Programme, and welcome The Concordia Steel Band, Driffield Male Voice Choir, Hull Ladies Choir, and The Classical Guitar Ensemble of the East Riding of Yorkshire to our Sunday afternoon concert slots.

SEATING:

We ask all customers attending our concerts to please bring their own seating where possible. Thank you.

SUNDAY BRASS BAND AND CONCERT PARKING:

We respectfully ask visitors coming to our band concerts to consider coming to the venue early in order to avoid parking problems caused by high volumes of traffic on band and concert Sundays. If our own car park is full, alternative parking is available at Pocklington Football Club, situated next to the Gardens, and in the council car park on Robertson Close, across the Balk from the Gardens behind the old railway station. We ask all of our visitors to please be considerate of local residents on busy days. Please avoid parking on Broadmanor where poor and inconsiderate parking has resulted in the authorities being made aware and checks being made.

Owing to increased pressure upon the Gardens and cafe on these days, we now have a no coaches policy on band concert Sundays.
