Children’s Summer Activity Mornings at Ripon Cathedral

Join us at Ripon Cathedral every Tuesday morning during the summer holidays for a series of creative activity sessions inspired by the theme of pilgrimage.
Children are invited to explore stories, make, build and imagine together in the beautiful and cool surroundings of the cathedral.
Every Tuesday, 10am-12pm
21 July – 25 August
£4 per child, under 2s free
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Programme:
21 July- Called Out of Darkness
Create leaf and petal paper lanterns inspired by light and journey.
28 July – My Chart & Guide
Design and make your own imaginative maps and set out on an adventure.
4 August – The Lord is My Strength
Craft your own shields and make ‘strengthening’ potions.
11 August – Firm Foundations
Leave your mark in the cathedral with your footprints and create your own walking sticks.
18 August – Shelter from the Storm
Build miniature shelters from recycled materials and create peg people to live in them.
25 August – Serving Others
Create paper frosted lemonade and colourful paper craft ice lollies.
