The Garden Rooms at Tennants is delighted to be welcoming back Yore Valley Artists for their third exhibition at the Leyburn gallery. Yore Valley Artists is a group of experienced artists who paint together both en plein air and in the studio, and they have been exhibiting together successfully throughout Yorkshire for several years. The exhibition will run from 14th November to 17th December and will be an excellent opportunity to buy unique and thoughtful Christmas presents.

Like many artists throughout history, they enjoy each other’s company and the benefits group encouragement, critique and advice bring as well as fresh ideas to improve their work.

Individual members work in a wide range of media including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, print and sculpture, and they focus of a variety of subject matter. Several members are currently represented in galleries throughout North Yorkshire and have exhibited in prestigious exhibitions both locally and in London.

The artists exhibiting will be Frances Green, Liz Hutchinson, Glynis Mills, Jeanne Mundy, Caroline Oates, Pamela Osborne, Keith Price, Leila Roberts, Laraine Simpson, Mary Smith, John Warburton and David Edwards.

This exhibition will showcase their diverse range of paintings, with plenty of Yorkshire subjects as well as landscapes around the rest of the UK and Europe.
