North Yorkshire Moors Railway launches flash sale for Day Out With Thomas™: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll Tour
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) has announced a special Bank Holiday flash sale from 1st - 4th May 2026. Families can save 20% when jumping onboard the Day Out With Thomas: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll Tour, which is hitting the tracks and bringing the beat to NYMR on 23rd-27th and 29th-31st May 2026.
The flash sale will be live from 1st - 4th May, and the offer can be claimed by using code MAY20 at the checkout to receive a 20% discount.
Day Out With Thomas is a fun-filled family event taking place at heritage railways across the UK. Each ticket includes a train ride behind Thomas a REAL steam engine as well as access to a full day of activities for all to enjoy including live entertainment, photo ops with Sir Topham Hatt, Thomas & Friends™ music corner, garden games, arts and crafts, storytelling and so much more!
Whilst enjoying the entertainment, visitors can also hop on board the NER Autocar for an hour long scenic train ride which will travel from Pickering to Levisham and back. Bookings are not required for this, but seating is limited.
Alongside the family friendly services, the NYMR will also be running a timetable of standard services between Whitby, Grosmont and Goathland. Visitors can hop on and off the standard services, to enjoy the heritage line at their own pace, whether that’s a walk along the Rail Trail to Goathland, a look behind the scenes at the engine sheds at Grosmont, or a couple of hours by the coast in Whitby.
