Join Mad Alice and her sinister companions aboard the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for A Bloody Merry Christmas, a darkly entertaining festive train journey filled with ghost stories, wicked characters and seasonal scares.
Christmas takes a decidedly darker turn at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway this December, as Mad Alice and her friends from the Bloody Tour of York return for a festive experience with a difference.
Step aboard an evening heritage train at Pickering for a one-hour journey to Levisham and back, where chilling ghost stories, sinister Christmas legends and live theatrical performances bring a wicked twist to the festive season.
Your host for the evening is Mad Alice, joined by a cast of wonderfully unsettling characters. Meet a Father Christmas whose wishes might come with unexpected consequences, encounter the hauntingly twisted Bloody Sugar Plum Fairy, and beware of Krampus, who's keeping a watchful eye on anyone who has been naughty this year.
Combining Gothic storytelling, dark humour and atmospheric entertainment, A Bloody Merry Christmas offers something a little different from traditional Christmas celebrations in Yorkshire.
With just two evenings to experience this unusual festive adventure, gather your bravest friends and prepare for a Christmas journey you won't soon forget.
