York Ice Trail 2027

This February, York Ice Trail returns for another unforgettable weekend, as Legends Unleashed takes over the city.

For 2027, the trail will bring legendary stories and characters to life through a spectacular collection of ice sculptures across York. Inspired by history and folklore, each sculpture will offer something new to discover as you explore the city. Completely free of charge, this is a fun, affordable and accessible way to explore York.

The Visit York Visitor Information Centre will once again provide an exclusive trail map and be on hand throughout the weekend. Along the way, York’s cafés, restaurants, shops and attractions offer plenty of places to relax and warm up between sculptures.
