There are exciting times ahead at Highfield House in Driffield as they launch their brand-new Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch menu, offering delicious dishes and relaxed dining throughout the day.

Since opening last year for staying guests and fine dining, Highfield have gone from strength to strength winning awards and receiving excellent reviews on all sides of the business.

Their 1864 restaurant is already renowned for its creative, mouth-watering menus, using local fresh produce and showcasing all the culinary delights that East Yorkshire has to offer.

‘YARN has been introduced to bring a casual style of dining to Highfield, still keeping the high standard and quality we’re known for but delivering a much more relaxed menu to our fine dining offer’ says owner Lindsey Lampard ‘we’re thrilled with the response so far and it’s great to welcome more people from the local community!’

The menu consists of good old favourites including a Full Yorkshire breakfast, spiced porridge, and sausage and bacon butties.  For the lunch offer there is a range of delicious freshly made sandwiches such as, goats’ cheese and fig on a freshly baked focaccia, there is also options of Yorkshire rarebit and various cheese and charcuterie boards.  Not forgetting the show stopping Highfield afternoon tea or for a lighter bite you can also just call in for delicious homemade cake and a fresh artisan coffee.

Lindsey adds ‘Extending our offer means we can cater for a different and wider audience to what we have done in the past, as a relatively new business were constantly looking for what people want and need in this area.  We keep an eye out for different ideas and opportunities that we can bring to the local area.  What we have is so special and we just want people to feel welcome and come up and enjoy the environment and atmosphere. ‘
